World Series – Yankees versus Phillies

Well it looks like the New York Yankees has made it back into the World Series. They beat the L.A. Angels in game six 5-2 to win the 2009 AL Pennant. In total they won the ALCS 4-2.

The Yankees are favored in World Series as well, being listed at -190 to win while the Phillies are +165 underdogs.

Game one will be this Wednesday and again, the Yankees are favored for Game 1 (-165) while the Phillies are +150 Underdogs and the Over/Under is set at 8.5.

While the New York Yankees are the favourite, I’ll be cheering on the Phillies to win. I’ve just never been a big fan of the “Big Apple” or the pro teams from there (though they do have some very good talent).
