Sign the Poker Petition
For those that are not aware of, or may not be members of the Poker Players Alliance (which you really should join the PPA if you believe in the freedom to play poker) and reside in the United States of America , there is a petition going on to keep poker legal and allow the American citizen the freedom to fund playing poker online.
You can join thousands of fellow poker players across the United States who are letting their voices be heard. This July 22, during National Poker Week, the Poker Players Alliance will present the petition to President Obama, asking him for his support in exempting poker from the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA), and to legalize and regulate online poker.
The poker petition is very easy to sign and only takes about a minute to fill out. My hat’s off to the PPA for making it so simple for folk to do. You can find forms to write your Congress as well at the PPA’s online site, so you might want to do that too while visiting the site.
