Poker Player Killed in Home
I know it’s a sad state this world is in and has been for a number of years, but most folk still believe that they are safe while in their homes. Or I do anyhow…..and with two dogs and my guns I don’t think too many people would want to try and enter my home uninvited. Not saying I’d kill them, but I’ll surely make them wish they never had entered….. But what if they knock first ?
Over at Rocky Mount North Carolina a man playing poker with some friends was shot and killed by someone who forced his way into a home after knocking on the door. Vernon Foster, a 35-year-old man, was fatally shot by two men who barged in after he opened the door at the house in Rocky Mount around 11 p.m. Friday.
Police say Foster’s poker-playing partner, 22-year-old Brian Edwards ran to a home across the street. The gunmen followed, shooting Edwards and a 61-year-old man in the other home.
As far as I know the cops have not caught the two scum bags, but I hope they do. It’s a real pisser when a man can’t have a little get together and some jerk wants to be an ass, but to start shooting is just being a piece of dirt. They deserve to be caught, tried, and if found guilty put away for life with no chance of seeing the streets again.
If you have any info on this crime, please contact the Rocky Mount Police Department in North Carolina.

Unfortunately wherever there is money scumbags will follow. Around 15 years ago some robbers busted into an underground high stakes poker game here in my hometown. Unfortunately for the robbers the players were all retired police officers. Two robbers went straight to Boothill.
