Fantasy 2010
Welcome to fantasy baseball 2010!! While the Red Sox and Yankees treated us to a great season opener Sunday night, It is time to get our lineups ready for the onset of long rigorous season.
With 26 teams prepared to open their 2010 campaigns on Monday, there will be plenty of scoring opportunities in the offensive and pitching categories. With almost every team sending there No 1 starters to the hill today, (check DL reports, Cliff Lee (drafted early by yours truly, grrr) out 15 day DL, abdominal strain) It will benefit you to check your hitters stats vs opponents.
Would be a good day to start Matt Kemp (CF Dodgers) vs Zach Duke. Kemp is 6 for 15 with 3 doubles against Duke. In your stolen base category, look towards Dexter Fowler and Julio Bourbon to have favorable match ups. Obviously on opening day, stay with your studs in the average and power categories.
Be sure to check your lineup for any late scratches so you can adjust accordingly. Dan Uggla, Rick Ankiel,Carlos Guillien, and Milton Bradley have injuries and will need to be monitored as game time approaches.
Hope your draft was successful, have fun, and best of luck to you all in the new season!!
